True and lasting life transformation is a two-fold process involving the whole person; body, mind and spirit. Secular counseling deals primarily with the conscious and/or subconscious mind with the hope of changing unhealthy patterns of behavior.
Our desire is not just external behavioral change but lasting internal heart change effecting both the emotions and the thought process (logic). This is accomplished by leading people to an experiential connection with Christ through the application of biblical principles, prayer and the working of the Holy Spirit.
